Lodima Press proudly announces the first in a series of Portfolio Books. This is a series that will bring to the public previously unseen work by many of the leading photographers of today: Robert Adams, Tom Baril, Barbara Bosworth, Paul Caponigro, Keith Carter, Paula Chamlee, Carl Chiarenza, Mark Citret, Linda Connor, Terry Evans, Larry Fink, Frank Gohlke, Emmet Gowin, Abelardo Morell, Nick Nixon, Michael A. Smith, George Tice, Jerry Uelsmann, and many others.

Each book in the series will contain from 8 to 18 photographs and will include writing by the photographer setting their work in context. The books will be printed to the high standards for which Lodima Press has become known— 600-line screen quadtone on heavy cover stock, which will insure that the reproductions will be true to originals. The books will be published in a softbound edition of 1,000 and a signed and numbered hardbound edition of 100. Each softbound book in the series is inexpensively priced at only $24.95, and only $19.95 to subscribers to the entire series. Hardbound copies are $100.

This affordable series of books is in the tradition of artists’ small books and represents an important contribution to the photographic literature—and belongs in the library of all lovers of fine photography books.
